Gaaaaaanz neu und aus der Schweiz. Das Label Realaudio. Mitbetreiber dieses neues Labels sind alte Bekannte aus der Netaudioszene. Benfay und Digitalis sind duch ihre Releases auf dem Label Thinner ein Begriff. Bei Realaudio gibt es vier verschiedene Abteilungen. Ambient, Broken Beats, Techno und Mixes. Aus dem Bereich Techno ist der erste Release von Monoide aus Bratislava der gleich ein ganzes Album für die Schweizer produziert hat. Die Spannungskurve baut sich von Track 1 aus kontinuierlich von minimal experimentell bis zum Knaller White Anger auf. Die Vorschußlorbeeren wurden nicht umsonst verliehen.

Subject: Lekkere muziek..
Got ADSL today and the 3rd thing I went looking for was this album from this artist. Searched myself blind for "monoid" with Google, sorry! This is brilliant music, builds up fluently from 0 to about 18 mph in about 20 minutes and than goes on for an hour more.

Subject: Cool techno from Monoide
After listening to Monoide's recent realaudio release "Numbers" [ratc004], I rediscovered just how fun and enjoyable listening to good techno can be. "Periodt" is no exception. Thirteen highly structured rhythmic tracks ranging from very minimal to powerful stompin techno. Track #2 with its vinyl crackling ambience is a beautiful piece while track #11 is guaranteed to get you moving. This release has been available for a while, but take a few minutes to discover or re-discover what it has to offer.
